How we work
Our goal is to help our clients acquire and retain customers in a cost-effective way that fits their business.

To do that, we follow a few basic practices in our engagements:

  • We are not "on the clock":  We work with our client to define what's needed to meet their particular needs, and we establish a fee for the completed project.  In most engagements, we don't charge an hourly rate, and we don't want our clients to "hear the meter running" every time they call or send us an email.

  • Clients pay for what they need:  Clients engage with us only for the services they need to achieve their goals.  We can call on expert resources to help with specialized tasks - PR, search engine optimization, video production, social media marketing, etc. - but we deliver, and clients pay for, only what's needed to get the job done.

  • Clients are not locked-in:  We work with clients only as long as we're delivering value.  Though some clients retain us for on-going guidance over a long term, there's no long-term, contractual commitment.

  • We don't "hit & run":  We deliver to our clients practical, actionable marketing recommendations, but we don't consider that the end of the engagement.  We don't simply hand-over a final report and walk away.  We ensure there's a smooth hand-off, helping the client get off to a strong start in implementing the recommendations.
